Project: ‘Your Downtown Muncie’ is an immersive learning opportunity involving Ball State University students. Funded by a Provost Initiative Grant, the project partnered with Muncie Downtown Development (Heart of the City) and Indiana Films to produce 23, 1-minute profile videos on local businesses in the downtown Muncie area.

Creators: Ball State University Telecommunications, Journalism, and Communication Studies students in a partnership with Muncie Downtown Development (Heart of the City) and Indiana Films.

Purpose: 'Your Downtown Muncie' benefits Downtown Muncie by providing a unique, creative, and visual presentation of many different business enterprises. These profiles are designed to create public awareness for the businesses, highlight their products and services, and afford them free advertising to grow. This effort will also benefit the citizens of Muncie and Ball State students by gaining a new appreciation for downtown Muncie.
